In order to tell you why I love doing what I do, I have to make a confession. I have a horrible memory. I never know if I actually remember events or if I just remember them because I have seen photographs of them. Fortunately, I have always carried a camera everywhere, taking pictures of everything (much to the annoyance of many of my friends and family) so I can look back at the photographs and always remember!
Documenting every moment is the root of my style. I want you to be able to remember everything & everyone as they are at that time in their life. Even if it means a baby is constantly making spit bubbles, or holds his fingers in his mouth, it isn't an imperfection, it is a memory of that time in their life. If a five year old is as crazy as can be, let's not force him to sit up straight and tilt his head to the camera, let's remember who he is.
I love working inside the studio and with nature as the backdrop. I love new babies, kids of all ages, seniors, families & weddings. I take pride in keeping my work modern and fresh by going to photography workshops and seminars throughout the year.
I look forward to meeting you and creating photographs so you are able to always remember the special moments in your life.

This family is just so darn cute – last time I saw the little guy he barely had any hair and now it’s super curly, SO cute! And the little girl just keeps getting more and more beautiful… she cracks me up every time I see her – she’s such a goofball, but man, she’s going...
I’m a little behind on the blog again… here are two cute kids that I had the opportunity to photograph a couple weeks ago! The only way we could get the little guy to smile was to just let him climb! Mom doing jumping jacks behind me also got a couple giggles!!

This family was enjoyable to photograph – love to capture the wobbly walk of toddlers! Her big sister did a great job of holding hands to try to help her out
This next family won a session from a local benefit for Rachel Iverson, an Eagle Lake resident. Rachel suffers from Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome...
Here are a few little cuties from recent sessions! I can’t believe the twins are 2 already – seems like yesterday I was down at the Mayo clinic photographing them when they were itty bitty ones!!!
I was up in the Cities a couple weeks ago to photograph a couple friends with their two-year old… it was one of those FREEZING July days! We lucked out an finished up right before it started to rain. I’m used to the parks and other areas in Mankato so it was really fun to be...
My 4-year old loves to see where Daddy goes when he travels for work. This time, Daddy took a Transformer with to see the sights. Here are a few pictures of the Transformer in Pennsylvania!
